Greetings Lord Baltimore Families and Enthusiasts!
We are thrilled about our return to the newly renovated location in Ocean View. Since our departure many wonderful changes have evolved. Currently, we are one building with a safe and secure entrance for visitors and children. Children will no longer experience wet shoes and clothes as they travel outside building to building! We are very excited to stay warm and dry at all times! Additionally, we will be enjoying the luxuries of a climate controlled environment with both heat and air. It is exciting to consider ceremonies and events without fans, bitter temperatures or extreme heat (as experienced in the past). To those of you whose curiosity I have aroused, that has been my intent. I look forward to seeing you at our Open House and seeing your participation at Lord Baltimore.
Historically, Lord Baltimore has provided students and families with positive, inviting and motivational learning experiences. The staff will strive to continue to provide students with the educational experiences that allow us to exceed Delaware’s high academic standards. We are looking forward to a GREAT year with many additions to our learning environment. As always, we welcome families to remain actively involved as our partnership has been the source of our continued success.
Finally, with revisions to the building and
the curriculum, we would like to share our enthusiasm. Led by our new
Spirit Committee we recently adopted our new ocean theme and mascot of the Sea
Star. Please be sure to familiarize your family with the legend of the Sea Star and its
relevance to education!
